About Us

A warm and welcoming hello to you, meet Melinda Ingold known as Mel, the creator and founder of Wandering Wellness By Mel. 

Wandering Wellness By Mel was founded through Mel’s own journey into wellness and her beauty work grew from a personal season of healing. During that time, consistent rituals of care, connection and conversation taught Mel how powerful it can be to slow down. listen to your body, and prioritse your health and wellbeing as a collective whole. That experience reshaped how Mel saw beauty not as a luxury, but as a meaningful part of holistic health and ultimately inspired the work she does today. Mel has trained with well-known skincare companies such as ASAP, Dermalogica, Ultraceuticals, Dr Spiller, DMK, Subtle Energies, Waterlily and now Prologic. 

Mel began training and studying beauty therapy in 2014, completing a Certificate 2 in Retail Makeup and Skincare. Later completing her Certificate 3 in Beauty Services in 2019 and a Diploma of Beauty Therapy in 2020. Recently Mel completed a Certificate 4 in Self Employment and New Business, also becoming a Prologic Corneotherapeutic Skin Therapist in 2025. As her passion continually grows Mel is forever upskilling with monthly training and online courses to provide you with the best experience and care.
